Luke and Becky

My nephew has got engaged to the beautiful Becky, and i wanted to scrap this picture i found on Beckys facebook page. I have added quotes but no journalling i did not think it needed both. The background paper is my minds eye and the squares are k&co, crochet ribbon and chipboard flowers from my local pound shop.....they have some great stuff and i buy it in bulk when i see it. I got 10 packs of that crochet ribbon lol.

ps very naughty of me to forget, the sketch is from pagemaps and i rotated it.

1st scrapbook page this year

Have not done a page in ages, seem my scrapbook mojo may be coming back yay lol...........back home now so i will be able to craft again. Just to add the papers are my minds eye and i will add some journalling but my pen has dried up lol

Happy New Year

Well a big hello, as you can see i have been out of the card making loop for a good 6 months.............all i can say is i lost my mojo big time and with looking after my mother-in-law and a new job it all got a bit to much, also another big factor was all the card orders i had it just put to much pressure on me so now i will be making cards for fun again and if i get a pile of cards i might take them in to work to sell :0)
I have made this card for I love Promarkers and my recycled part of the card is the ribbon. I have used an oldie but a goodie Penny Black stamp and My minds eye papers.

Well what a weekend was it not just glorious!!!! We spent the weekend with out best friends and had a wonderful time, then i came home and tried to make my DT card for this week, only to find my printer not working. Hubby spent most of last night trying to get it to work but no joy :0(
Any way i have made a card using this weeks fab sketch by Karen and a dimension fourth stamp which i rarely use now.

Now for this weeks challenge, sponsored by the lovely Joanna Sheen. This week we have a theme for you to work with which is 'Wings' now that gives you alsorts of choices doesn't it. Ok now on my card i created a background by stamping the bench on to some white card and also onto a post it note.
I then cut the mask out and placed it over my stamped image.
I then stamped the fence twice, straight over the post it note.
Next i stamped the tilda onto card coloured with promarkers and cut her out, i coloured the bench and fence and stuck tilda down so she looked like she was sat on the bench.
I then stamped some leaves onto the card to frame it....again i used promarkers not ink.
Then i chalked a sky and grass.

Sadly Vix has decided to step down from our DT due to other commitments, and not having enough hours in the day to spread herself amonst all that she does. Commission card

I do very few commission cards these days, about 18 months ago i was getting quite stressed trying to keep up with orders/work etc, so when Robs mum was very poorly i stopped them as i had to help care for her.....now she is better i have still not started doing them again but a good friend at work is 50 this month and is also a crazy Donny fan so i agreed to make her card.
Not to fussy all i had to do was Donny and purple and knew she would be happy, as they are her 2 fav things lol This is a A4 card big enough for everyone to sign at work.

PFP and cute card Thursday

The challenge this week on PFP was to make your own background using promarkers, so I made a tartan background on the large nestie behind the little girl....and speaking of the little girl this is the 1st time I have coloured a darker skin tone, think i need a bit more practice but she is so cute :0)And the challenge at Cute card Thursday was to use texture, i have used ribbon and a pin and a embossed background.
