Friday sketchers

Here is another new stamp from Whiff of joy, and i have used this fab sketch from Friday sketchers xxxx

Saturday, 20 February 2010

The reason i thought to give you my sticky scissor tip the other day was because i had just got some new stamps and was mounted them on some cling stuff, 4 new stamps from the whiff of joy city girl set yum yum lol
She looks like she is having a fab time, perals and gem coloured with a promarker to match.

A top tip for you!!

Now do say i never give you anything lol, but do you ever get sticky scissors?
now do not go and buy all the fancy stuff to remove it, just put some nail varnish remover on some kitchen roll and slide it up and down the blades and hey presto clean scissors.
:0)

These papers are By Basic grey and are part of a crimbo pack......but these are fine for everyday cards as not all the papers have Christmas stuff on them.
The flowers were white but i coloured them with my promarkers to match the girls top, you will notice i do that a lot lol

Challenge #2

Welcome to this weeks challenge, well done to Louise who won last weeks challenge sponsored by the lovely Joanna Sheen.
My card is made using a super cute Penny Black image coloured as always with my promarkers....i have chalked around the edges as well.
The background paper is from My Minds Eye...............a current favourite of mine, this is a very bright card for me some of you may have noticed i like the darker aged looking papers :0)
but that is what these challenge are about, trying something new.

And here's the sketch for this week. This weeks theme is 'Spring' please interpret this however you wish. Please remember, to be entered into the prize draw, you must use ProMarkers and follow the sketch and theme and also provide a link back to us from your blog.
This weeks challenge is sponsored by the lovely Susie from Die Cut Dreams. This weeks prize is a set of 3 door hangers to decorate as you wish. Why not pop over to Susie's online store and have a look at the lovely goodies she has to offer.

And how about visiting the rest of the design team, they have made some stunning examples this week.

Passion for promarkers

The brief this week was to use Agean blue, sky blue and cool aqua.......so i dug out this little used stamp lol
Now i coloured the peel-offs, pearls and small roses with the promarkers as well to match.
Inside the sentiment is "from one senior to another" lol

Promarker Challenge #8

(click on image if you would like to enlarge it)
Welcome to challenge #1 as you will have seen a few changes have been made, we have some wonderful sponsors and this is now a weekly challenge.
So this week you have this lovely sketch to play with and you also need to use the colours pink and brown.......does not matter which shades you use.
We are being sponsored this week by the lovely Joanna Sheen.

On my card i used a lovely whiff of joy image called Charlotte with bird cage.
Parers and flowers etc. were from my stash and it was a left over piece of paper so i can not tell you who it is by sorry.
I have used Antique pink and sandstone for the clothes on the main image, going over areas to create the shading.
Apricot and terracotta for the hair, satin and sun kissed pink for the skin and pastel blue for the shading around the image, also used buttercup for the birdcage.

Have fun, and please check out the other design team members and show them some love!
