Last challenge of the year, here is what Sharon has to say over on the blog!!!

Challenge 6..we want some guest designers

Well done to all of you finalists, we should soon have a winner chosen by Letraset themselves.

We do have a bit of exciting news!...every month we look through all your blogs at all the stunning entries you all have. We thought it a good idea to offer the opportunity of a monthly guest design team place to each monthly winner running for 1 month only...a great way to showcase some of your stunning colouring!



So..this challenge is a little different from the last few!!..we want to see how creative you can be so...there's NO SKETCH to follow simply a few guidelines:



We want to see some spots and stripes on your cards..these can be the main focus of the card or a simple accent, the decision is yours.



This will be the last challenge before Christmas, we re-start again on the 13th January, our finalists from this challenge will be announced on the 12th Jan so can all entries be on here by the 11th Jan.



Of course..another fab prize of a set of Promarkers and bleed proof pad.! (colours may differ to those in the photograph)

A bit late!!!

This is a bit late for last weeks penny black challenge but never mind lol.
Used my new folder and a stamp from the twelve days of christmas by penny black.

Card for a friend

I made this simple card for my friend Amanda to let her know i was thinking of her, Amanda's mother sadly passed away recently.

I have finally been able to sit at my craft desk this weekend after 5 weeks of agony my legs is improving, still a lot of pain but i am able to craft again :-)))
I will show you over the next few days what i have made.

yet another crimbo card!

Nec craft show

Here are some of the things i got at the NEC yesterday....it was not a great day!! so busy you could not see anything and the pain in my leg was to much at times so in the end i had to sit it out and let my friends shop on there own:-(((
I came home with money and brought practically no stamps!!!
We will never go on a Saturday again lol

I ♥ ProMarkers sketch #5

Hello everyone, here for you this month is another brilliant sketch to follow and as always you are allowed to use any colours to colour your cards.
This month we could also use any colours we wanted.

Ok I have used
Skin= satin and sun kissed pink
hair= apricot honeycomb and terracotta
dress= ruby red, and to get my shading I went over the areas i wanted darker.
books= marsh green and olive green
and a white highlighter pen.
Basic grey papers and a peel-off from my stash and a lovely whiff of joy image.

Just for you

Here is a gift card holder i have made for my friends birthday on Friday, with no colouring !!!
The card is just built up with frames cut from my nesties, some embossed and some plain.
With a little sentiment in the middle.
I have took a side angle pic so you can see how the sentiment is at the back ifkwim lol
Looking forward to the NEC show this weekend, off with my friend ready to shop lol

baby boy gift

Now we are having a baby boom at work!!!! And all are boys lol my favourite:-))
This is for the soon to be born Kyle who should be with us boxing day, i have already this week took in a crochet blanket for Bradley who is arriving on the 11th of Nov, going to be a small baby so i am also making a couple of tiny cardies for the little man lol. And all i have to make now is something for the twin boys arriving in January:-))
The mini scrapbook page is one from Page maps, no idea who makes the papers as all i have left is scraps, the frame came from our pound shop, just wish i had got more now.
The box frame is decorated with matching rub on's that have been in my box forever lol

Halloween bag

I would love to say i came up with this great idea but i copied the frankie card from Dawns stamping thoughts, and made it into a goody bag for halloween............i used my nesties to make the handles.
I only do this for my friends children.

This week my friend Carol Ann sent me a surprise in the post, i had some lovely papers ribbon snowflakes and gems in the parcel and here are a couple of cards i made with the bits and pieces.

Scraplings

Have you heard of these.....well i had but had not made one, but it makes sense too.
When i make my 6x6 card i always have this leftover bit!
Now the challenge this week on a forum i am part of is to make one of these scraplings....i am going to use this for a tag, will make a hole later.

Welcome to another challenge at I love Promarkers, we have another fabulous sketch to play with and remember you can use any colours to colour your image with.

Here is a close up of the sugar nellie stamp, since getting the new colours i have changed my skin tones to Satin and Sun Kissed Pink.

Here are the pens i have used, i did not have maroon so made a sub with plum....all the pens before the white highlighter pen are the extra ones i have used for shading, skin and shoes.

And last but not least is the fabby sketch for you to play with.

Friday Sketchers

Helloooooooooooooo
I feel rubbish:-((( full of cold but hey ho so is most of the country lol
I have been playing with the new promarker colours and they are fab.....seems they are all the missing colours pmsl When i was taking them out of the bag i was saying to myself arrrgh that will be good with sandstone etc
Anyways i have made this card for Friday sketchers, it is a beautiful sketch this week.....can you notice something different to my usual stuff?
No inking and doodleing lol very hard not to pick up the ink pad but i think it looks nice.

Day off yesterday

and this is what i did lol, made a pen storage holder for my markers.....after seeing a pic of one on PFP site i went to ikea in Bristol which is 40 mins from me to get 2 lol but i do like ikea and had not been for ages and took a friend as well.
I got one for myself and one for my friend, but if she does not want it i am going to to the same thing but for my nestabilities and cling stamps, so it will not be wasted.
Also my stuff bucket arrived on thursday and her is a pic of it half full ready for craft club on Thursday night.

Passion for promarkers

When i saw this stamp i thought it would make a great hello sort of card, cos i say hello to my fish Eric everyday lol just like this little boy!!!
Now thw theme this week at PFP is Cool Aqua and Apricot, great colour combo and also flowers.
So i have flowers on the BP and i made a paper flower and i used Friday Sketchers Sketch this week.

Quick card

Very quick card made with the stickers from the pound shop yesterday!!!!
Still can not beleive i brought stickers, not keen on the clear bit around the birds butfor an emergency card i can live with it lol

so i made this bag with the wrong colours but i will still use it this christmas he he

Hello, I am back from my hols.....feeling very refreshed!!
I thought i would share this wiper card with you, found the instructions on SCS.
The messga epops up when you pull the sides of the card, its very easy to make as i managed it lol
